You can probably find me playing games or writing words.

And that can only mean one thing… Updates!

It has been a while since I last spoke about projects. The last project I created (and promptly shut down) was released in 2017. It feels like only yesterday that I was putting finishing touches on that. But in that time — I’ve put energy into other things I care about, and this is only the beginning.

Today, I am happy to announce that two major projects that I have been working on have gotten announced, with one of them being fully released. Yes, there’s more you haven’t seen, but we’re going to focus on what you have for right…

But I’m starting to regain my motivation again.

A photo of the sky taken by me — I titled it “From Isolation, Month 2 (May 2020)”

I’ve been working pretty much non-stop on school work, hobbies, and other side projects since the pandemic started last March. I’ve taken breaks here and there but I’ve largely remained busy. I certainly think that simple fact alone is what has helped me pass the time in isolation. But when it comes time to work on anything large, including these blog posts (which now have a scheduled release each month), it’s been a struggle.

The truth is — I never really had this issue before school pivoted to full virtual learning last year. Sure, towards the end of each school…

I procrastinated so much that I wrote this the night before I’m supposed to publish it!

Well, let’s just say I wasn’t expecting to write this blog post the night before it’s supposed to go up. I know I could’ve put more time and effort into something interesting, but I’m going to be honest — I’ve been feeling pretty burned out. Instead of coming up with a set topic to write about for this month, I’ve decided just to write about the things going on this year that I’m both excited and allowed (without breaching NDAs or making secrets known) to talk about.

And why you should too.

As I said last week, this topic is very important to me, so I ensured it would get a release slot this year on my blog. For the sake of transparency, I want to be clear in stating the following:

  • I will be making reference to current real-world politics throughout this article, but I will not be stating my opinions on said real-world politics. I will, however, be sharing my opinions (and reasoning) behind participating in the political process at every level through local, state, and federal elections.
  • The information contained throughout this article applies to people who currently live…

New Leaf is calling my name.

I want to preface this by saying that this article is not a review of either Animal Crossing: New Leaf or Animal Crossing: New Horizons. While I will be touching on some of my opinions regarding the games, I will not be reviewing either of them here today. These games are meant to be played over the course of anywhere between a few months to a few years. That makes them hard to review. I will state that I may consider reviewing them in the future, but that’s beyond the scope of today’s piece.

I’ve been playing Animal Crossing: New…
